Trademark Prosecution
The IP team has a number of attorneys who practice before the U.S.P.T.O. in securing trademarks for our clients. This practice includes conducting pre-registration searches, preparing trademark applications, preparing follow-up prosecution to obtain allowance of the applications, and appealing cases to the TTAB, when necessary. The team also monitors the PTO’s Trademark Gazette in order to advise clients when a mark that might be confusingly similar to theirs is published. In doing this, the client is given an opportunity to oppose the registration of offending marks.
