Boston – October 1, 2004. Four members of Hanify & King, PC, a Boston-based law firm, joined 100 other professionals in the Third Annual ‘Back to School Cup’ Golf Tournament on Monday, September 27. Held at the Hopkinton Country Club, the benefit helped to raise more than $25,000 for the Inner-City Scholarship Fund of the Catholic Schools Foundation.
Dan Dwyer, Mike Perry, Jerry Richer and Chris Morrison of Hanify & King participated in the day’s activities, which included a round of golf, dinner and a silent/live auction. Dwyer is a trustee of the Catholic Schools Foundation, the corporate parent of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF).
ICSF annually assists disadvantaged inner-city students who attend primary and secondary parochial schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. Dan Dwyer and his colleagues from Hanify & King belong to the ICSF Professionals’ Team. These businessmen and women volunteer their time to enrich the educational experience of students by both bridging the gap between classroom and workplace and by illustrating how a solid education can positively influence a future career.
