Hanify & King Receives Summary Judgment Dismissing Retaliation Claim
On Monday, October 25th, the firm obtained a summary judgment dismissing a retaliation claim asserted against our client, McKesson Health Services LLC, in an employment case filed in the U.S. District Court. The plaintiff, a former McKesson employee, asserted that McKesson retaliated against him in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act by threatening to fire him after he complained about his pay. Hanify & King argued successfully that the asserted retaliatory conduct was insufficient as a matter of law to sustain such a claim.
