Boston – (March 14, 2005) Hanify & King, a Boston-based law firm, announced today that its President, James Coyne King, and associate, John R. Samia, recently represented their client Paperboy Ventures, LLC, in a $4.2 million Series A Preferred Stock financing for EnerTech Environmental, Inc., a waste conversion and energy company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
EnerTech is dedicated to the commercialization of clean combustion technologies for municipal sewage sludge and other high moisture wastes. The $4.2 million financing is the completion of a $10 million Phase One financing for EnerTech which is developing intellectual property for converting sludge and waste into commercially viable products.
Hanify & King regularly represents Paperboy Ventures, LLC, a Washington, D.C. based merchant bank which invests in life sciences and technology-based companies at all stages of development. Paperboy Ventures, LLC, has closed on more than $40 million of financings in the last two quarters.
