Experience
Mr. Tepichin concentrates his practice on complex business and commercial litigation matters. Some of his relevant experience includes serving as the principal attorney on an appellee brief in the Massachusetts Appeals Court, acting as lead counsel on a three-day trial in the Suffolk Probate Court, taking and defending numerous depositions, and leading discovery disputes in federal court. He also has extensive experience in efficiently managing complex electronic discovery and document productions.
Prior to joining Murphy & King, Mr. Tepichin spent four years as an Associate in the Litigation Department of Ropes & Gray LLP. Before finishing law school, he also taught two years of introductory economics at Harvard College.
Representative Engagements
- Mr. Tepichin has represented a number of clients from among the U.S. Fortune 500, defending against claims alleging multi-million dollar losses from asset-backed securities and the subprime fallout, conducting pharmaceutical compliance investigations, and representing a third party to an antitrust dispute in the wireless connectivity standards setting process. Other representative matters include litigation concerning alleged breaches in warranties and representations in a merger agreement between national manufacturing companies, an insurance coverage dispute with a hospital that conducted close to 1000 unnecessary coronary artery bypass grafts and catheterizations on healthy patients, and claims of false advertising.
