Experience
Mr. Phelan concentrates his practice in intellectual property litigation and trademark prosecution. He represents foreign and domestic clients in a variety of industries in worldwide trademark prosecution. In addition to prosecuting trademarks, Mr. Phelan has argued trademark appeals at both the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Phelan has also been trial counsel in trademark litigation in the District of Maryland, the Eastern District of Virginia and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Phelan has assisted in patent infringement litigations in the Eastern District of Texas, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Southern District of California.
